Moments like these with my mom are truly priceless. We enjoy our cup of coffee, cherish the simple joys of life, and feel grateful for the beautiful moments God has given us.

This year's visit to the Philippines was truly special, filled with moments of love, gratitude, and meaningful milestones. The celebration of my mom's 89th birthday was a beautiful highlight, surrounded by family and friends, cherishing her remarkable life.
As a family, we also ventured on a memorable trip to Siquijor, an island sitting across from us (Dumaguete). It was my very first time visiting this island, and I must say, I will definitely come back!
The white sand beaches - it was so different!
Elena's Otap (souvenirs) - the only place you want to get your Otap
The oldest church in Siquijor - we stepped onto the wooden floor, and it immediately struck us by the weight of history and the sacred atmosphere surrounding us. A presence that cannot be seen but is profoundly felt. It's as though the spirit gently envelops you, a calm yet powerful sensation settling over your heart and soul. It is something I want to experience again.

Another remarkable accomplishment, this 2025 family visit in the Philippines was completing the second floor of my Mom's house - a testament to my dedication and love for my Mom. This addition not only enhances her home but also symbolizes the care and commitment my family and I have poured into creating a nice space for comfort and togetherness. I am so grateful for my brother Kier, who managed the whole project. Everything looks great! I couldn't be more proud of his leadership and trustworthiness. We will have more projects coming up in the near future.
I have other special events that I would like to share, but I will do that next time.
Meeting Flor, Doris, and Portia in Manila was a blast.
The flight experienced numerous delays and issues. What I dislike most about traveling is the delays, as they create a ripple effect. During this trip, I missed two flights and incurred financial losses, which I'm not pleased about. I can't wait to write about the Cebu Pacific airline - they suck!
The successful project of adding the 2nd floor at my Mom's home in detail.
Anyway, overall, this trip was a celebration of milestones, family bonds, and special moments that make life meaningful - a true treasure to hold in my heart!
